Jason received several pints of blood at just 29 years old due to internal bleeding. He had to undergo emergency surgery where doctors provided him a slim chance of survival.
Jason overcame those odds and spent several days in the hospital recovering.
In the spirit of paying it forward, Jason, now 34, is a loyal blood donor. He tells RIBC it’s a simple and easy thing to do to help the community that helped him.
