Rae was diagnosed with b-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, but that hasn’t dampened her spirit. Rae’s love for Disney, crafting, painting, coloring, cooking, cats, Legos, and dancing remains strong.

The red cell and platelet donations have been lifesaving for her. As Daniella Lomba, Rhode Island Blood Center Account Manager, said, “Take those two hours and think about the fact that you’re literally saving a 5-year-old who is going through treatment. She would want more time with her family, and those platelets can make that difference for her.”

Rae’s battle is still ongoing. You can follow her progress by visiting her Facebook page: “Raelyn’s Rebel Ride.”
