September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Rhode Island Blood Center (RIBC) is supporting children and families facing cancer through a special blood donation campaign.
From September 14–21, RIBC will donate $1 to The Tomorrow Fund for every blood donation made during the campaign. The Tomorrow Fund provides daily financial and emotional support to children with cancer and their families who are treated through the Pediatric Oncology Program and The Tomorrow Fund Clinic at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence.
This campaign gives donors two ways to make an impact: helping ensure a lifesaving blood supply for patients in our community while also supporting children and families facing the challenges of childhood cancer.
