Rhode Island Blood Center (RIBC) is celebrating 35 years of partnership with Amica Insurance, a milestone that represents 231 blood drives, more than 10,400 donations and countless patients helped.
Since the partnership began, Amica employees have consistently rolled up their sleeves, encouraged their colleagues and donated blood to support patients facing cancer, trauma, surgery, childbirth complications, chronic blood disorders and other serious medical needs.
To mark the milestone, RIBC presented Amica with a special recognition honoring 35 years of lifesaving partnership. RIBC Executive Director of Operations Nicole Pineault joined Amica Senior Vice President of Human Resources Scott Boyd and COO Sam Palmisano to recognize the employees who have helped build a lasting culture of giving.
The milestone comes at an especially important time, as summer can be a challenging season for blood collections. We’re grateful to Amica and its employees for their continued commitment to patients across our region.
