The Rhode Island Blood Center is continuing its partnership with Discipline Brewing Co. in Pawtucket with a new promotion designed to encourage weekend blood donations throughout the remainder of October.
Launched in October, the Bee Positive partnership brings together two local organizations around a shared commitment to community. Inspired by the connection between B-positive blood types, a positive attitude, and the power of a community working together, the collaboration introduced Discipline’s limited-edition Bee Positive Märzen beer while raising awareness of the ongoing need for blood donations.
Beginning Friday, October 16, eligible donors who visit an RIBC donor center on select weekends will receive a voucher for a free pint of Bee Positive beer at Discipline Brewing Co. The offer is available October 16–18, October 23–25, and October 30–31.
Donors must be 21 or older to receive a voucher, and vouchers cannot be redeemed on the same day as the donation. The promotion is available at RIBC donor centers only.
The new offer extends the Bee Positive partnership beyond its launch, giving donors another opportunity to engage with a local business while helping support the community’s blood supply. As hospital demand continues, weekend donations remain an important part of ensuring patients have access to the blood products they need.
