Changes to Donor Center Schedules for 2022

Beginning in February 2022, RIBC will need to adjust the days and hours of our six donor centers. Since the pandemic, it has been extremely challenging for blood centers everywhere to collect enough blood for the hospitals and patients they serve. To mitigate this, RIBC needs to do the following:

We recognize that you -- our center donors -- are also creatures of habit! If the changes have impacted your favorite day and time to give, our team will do everything possible to find a location, date, and time that work for you. Your help is still needed now more than ever as we try to maximize donations across the state to meet patients' needs. If you typically only give where you live, we can help you find a center closer to where you work.

We could not have gotten through these last two years without your consistent donations, and we appreciate you more than words can express! Please stay with us as we continue to adjust to how the pandemic has changed the way donors give and we operate. Most importantly, please continue to save lives in your community with us.
