January is National Blood Donor Month Resolve to become a regular blood donor
The Rhode Island Blood Center and Dunkin’ Donuts would like to do something special for our blood
donors. Please join the celebration by donating blood or platelets during January, National Blood
Donor Month. All presenting donors, at blood drives and our fixed sites, will be given a coupon courtesy
of Dunkin’ Donuts for a pound of any flavor Dunkin’ Donuts Blend Coffee.
“Dunkin’ Donuts is honored to partner with the Rhode Island Blood Center for the annual Give a Pint, Get
a Pound promotion,” said Todd Wallace, Field Marketing Manager for Dunkin’ Donuts. “We hope receiving a
pound of delicious Dunkin’ Donuts coffee will help encourage our neighbors to reach out and help each
other by donating the gift of life at a time when it’s needed most.”
Our blood supply needs constant replenishment. The only resource is people. This caring and generous act
saves lives, helps ensure the well being of people of all ages, and provides individuals with a unique
opportunity to make a lasting difference in their communities. Each blood donation has the potential to
save up to three lives.
The Rhode Island Blood Center has donor centers in Providence, Warwick, Narragansett, Woonsocket and
Middletown, and holds several blood drives throughout the state every day. To make an appointment to donate
blood or platelets, visit the blood center’s Web site at www.ribc.org, and
