Rhode Island Blood Center's Design For Life Contest
The Rhode Island Blood Center is currently running a T-shirt design contest and recognition program to acknowledge one gifted artist and hundreds of students that donate three times a year.
Student artists age 19 and under will be able to submit T-shirt designs by mail or on-line between September 1,2011 and Friday March 9, 2012. The Center and a panel of esteemed Rhode Island artists will then narrow the entries to a group of three finalists and the winner will be chosen by a community wide on-line secret ballot the summer of 2012. The winning design will be printed on T-shirts and distributed to individuals 19 and under who present to donate three times between September 1, 2011 and July 9, 2012 and make one attempt at a high school blood drive.
The winning artist will receive considerable exposure in the Rhode Island Blood Centers newsletter, in media releases on the Blood Centers web-site, and social media pages. The winning designer will also receive an 8GB I-Pod Touch.
